My schedule is busy, and I value correctness in our relationship, as time is the most valuable resource for all of us, so if you cannot be available at the scheduled time, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged a late cancellation or no-show fee, and keep in mind that your insurance won't cover it. I can understand unforeseeable emergencies but within reasonable exceptions.
In principle, at the end of each session, we will agree on the following date and time. Once we establish our schedule, we will meet weekly or biweekly on the same day and time. If you are engaged and unable to attend, I expect you to notify me as soon as possible. Termination of a session later than 24 hours before the actual session is subject to a late cancellation fee. If you don’t appear for the scheduled session, there will be a no-show fee. Of course, we are all human; sometimes, emergencies cannot be foreseen. In such cases, I can make an exclusion. But you also keep in mind that canceled session is a waste of my work time, and if such issues become more frequent, I will think that you are not motivated enough, and I may terminate my therapy with you.
